Meridian Consultants is a recognized leader in community, environmental, and natural resource planning, known for its innovative approach to meeting the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Founded by Partners Tony Locacciato and Mark Austin in 2012, Meridian's focus is to provide strategic and innovative consulting services while fostering entrepreneurial talent. The firm is dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions that balance growth with environmental stewardship. By continually pushing the boundaries of traditional planning, Meridian Consultants is focused on contributing to solutions to planning and environmental issues.
In 2024, Meridian Consultants named Christ Kirikian as Partner. This strategic move not only recognizes Kirikian’s significant contributions since joining the firm in 2013 but also marks the firm’s renewed commitment to growth, innovation, and the development of entrepreneurial talent. Kirikian, who currently serves as Principal and Director of Air Quality & Acoustics, has played a key role in expanding the firm’s air quality, noise, and mitigation monitoring services, solidifying the firm’s reputation as an industry leader.
